Community Involvement
AgState is proud of our communities that we serve because they are our communities as well. We support our local communities by donating items, funds, and volunteers. AgState is always looking forward to helping our producers prosper, and that includes education of our youth, scholarships, 4-H, FFA, local Fairs, Fire Departments, Police Departments, EMTs, and fundraisers for local families.

Newell Food Pantry
AgState recently donated $700 to the Newell Food Pantry, and thanks to a matching grant from Land O'Lakes Hunger Relief, that gift doubled to $1,400! That $1,400 covers the Newell Food Pantry's entire monthly payment for food purchased from the Food Bank of Iowa, helping ensure local families have access to nutritious food when they need it most. Thank you to Land O'Lakes Hunger Relief for partnering with us to make an even greater impact in our community!
Lake Park Fire Department
AgState is proud to support the Lake Park Fire Department with a $1,000 donation, matched by a $1,000 grant from Land O'Lakes, to help strengthen the department's ability to serve the community.
Alta Fire Association
AgState is proud to support the Alta Fire Association with a $1,000 donation toward the Firecom Communications System Project. Through a matching $1,000 grant from LOL, this contribution will help enhance communication capabilities for the department, supporting first responders as they serve and protect the community.
Peterson Ambulance Shed Open House
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Peterson Ambulance Shed Open House! It was wonderful to celebrate this important addition to the community. AgState is proud to support projects that strengthen our rural communities, and we were honored to contribute $2,500 toward the construction of the new ambulance shed. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this project a reality—we're grateful to be a small part of something that will serve the community for years to come.

AgState donated $5,000 to the Ida County Swine Barn project
July 11th, 2023, AgState donated $5000 to the Ida County Swine Barn project. The new barn received the first swine group for the fair that started on July 18th and ended on the 23rd. Local Schools Hat & Mitten Drive Winners Alta/Aurelia
AgState held a Hat & Mitten Drive with all the local schools. The top participating class at each school had a pizza party. Our Top winning Alta/Aurelia class is pictured. This class chose to donate all their donations to their school for students in need. AgState held their own drive and donated all items to Mid-Sioux out of Remsen, IA.

AgState works closely with our Fire, Police, EMT departments. AgState is always keeping safety top of mind and occasionally we need the assistance of our local groups.
